MACS - Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia and Coloboma Support > Become a MACS Member

Join MACS

Are you the parent or guardian of a child with Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia or Coloboma? Or are you an adult with a MACS condition and UK based? Then apply for a MACS Standard Membership and join the MACS family! MACS is here for the whole family, so be sure to include the details of everyone who'd like to be a member when completing the form. We always aim to follow up with an onboarding call at a time to suit you - we look forward to welcoming you!

Extended family members and close friends can also apply for our Extended Family Membership and receive many member benefits, however will not be eligible to vote at our AGM. For anyone else without a direct connection to someone with a MACS condition, you can join us as a Friend of MACS using the form below. If you are an organisation wishing to be affiliated with MACS, please drop us an email.

All MACS memberships are free. Start your application below. If you are not able to submit an online application or experience any difficulties in completing the form, we are here to help. Please contact Jessica at enquiries@macs.org.uk who will happily assist.

 

Standard MACS Membership

Standard MACS Membership is for individuals with a MACS condition or households with a MACS member

Friend of MACS Membership

Friends of MACS Membership is for non-UK residents and those without a direct link to a MACS person

Extended Family Membership

Extended Family Membership is for those who are relatives of a MACS person

Professional MACS Membership

Professional Membership is for clinicians and those who work with people with MACS conditions

Why join MACS

If you are unsure about joining our community, we would love to put you at ease. Do get in touch with our Membership Services team using the web chat function, or contact the Helpline. The helpline is answered by volunteers who are also parents of a MACS child or have the condition themselves.
