Regional Volunteers
Exciting times here at MACS. To grow those ever-valued local connections and increase our event offerings we are soon going to be launching our regional volunteers program.
If you are over 18, and a MACS member with or without a MACS condition yourself and are interested in giving some time throughout the year to help organise and run some events we’d love to hear from you.
It might be a meet-up at a local park, a trip to the zoo, a touch tour and show at a local theatre, or simply a coffee and chat at a local café. Our aim is as a regional volunteer you’ll get to know the members in your area and agree on events based on what they want. All with constant support, funding and training from us.
We hope this approach will widen our offering and really cement the local friendships we all know are so important.
At this stage, if you’d be interested in being a volunteer please drop us an email to enquiries@macs.org.uk
With just a paragraph about yourself – what you’d like to offer MACS within your own region and your link to MACS be it as a parent, grandparent or MACS adult.
We simply want to get to know a little about you, so please don’t feel it’s formal at all.
