At MACS, we’re passionate about creating opportunities for our members to connect, share experiences, and have fun together.
Our Big MACS Meet Up is a special highlight each year: a chance for members and families from across the UK to come together, share experiences, and create lasting memories. In 2025, we gathered at Drayton for a weekend full of connection, laughter, and support and we’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone again in 2026.
Throughout the year, our MACS Meet Ups offer more opportunities to connect on a smaller, more local level. From Northern Ireland to Scotland and beyond, these gatherings continue to grow, shaped by the people who attend them. We’re also exploring new ways to bring members together, including interest in an adults-only Meet Up.
You can find all of our upcoming events including online sessions below!
If you’d like to play a part in growing our community, our Regional Volunteers Programme is a great way to get involved helping to support others, bring people together, and shape the future of MACS events.
'The family weekend is the only place we are confident to allow our son to run around with the other children and feel he is safe and understood.'
'It has given me a large support network to be able to ask advice when needed but also close friendships for both me and my husband and my MACS child and her sister'
Our services are for anyone affected by a MACS condition. If you need us but can’t afford to pay or are struggling to access our services for any other reason, please contact amy@macs.org.uk and we’ll ensure that we are here for you
MACS Virtual Events
Join us for workshops, quiz nights and more!
The virtual events were first created to keep our members entertained and connected during the Covid pandemic in 2020 and 2021. The events proved so popular with the MACS community that we knew they had to stick around for good! Please see below the list of upcoming events. All events and registration details are shared on the MACS Services and Events Facebook page. To join an event, simply click the relevant event under the 'Events' section of the Facebook page where you will find further details and a link to register, you will then be sent a link to attend. If you are not on social media or would like to discuss an event in further detail please don't hesitate to contact us on enquiries@macs.org.uk.
Would you like to host an event?
We like to give our members the opportunity to host these meetings to share their interests, offer a challenge and gain confidence. If you have any ideas for a meeting or would like to host one please do get in touch.
If you have any ideas for an event or you would like to iron out any technology or joining issues before any of our zoom meetings please let us know on enquiries@macs.org.uk. We can arrange a time that will fit in with your day.
Our events are free
The Zoom meetings are free and there for you to meet and keep in touch with others who are in a similar situation, with similar experiences and are a very supportive space. Details and links for these workshops will be advertised on the MACS Services and Events Facebook page. If you do not use Facebook and would like to come along, please contact enquiries@macs.org.uk for assistance.
