MACS recognises that the rising cost of living in the UK means that a family holiday can simply be out of reach for many families. This is particularly the case for families affected by disability, where the additional every day living costs may make it difficult to save for a holiday.
MACS also recognises how difficult it can be to source accessible holidays if someone in your party has access requirements of any nature.
Our daughter was able to experience a new place and new activities that she wouldn't have otherwise had access to; she was able to ride on an accessible go kart, experience swimming…
He absolutely loved his first family holiday! He thought the beach was great and it was so lovely to see him playing with his big sister. We really saw his confidence grow during the week.
It was lovely just to get away and have a break, to have time to chill out and relax and have some fun. You have no idea how much a lovely, stress free holiday was needed.
It allowed us all to relax and enjoy each other's company without the stresses of everyday life.
